Job Summary
As the Coordinator for Student Management and Digital Processes at the University of Bonn, you will spearhead the digital transformation within the Registrar's Office. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve configuring and maintaining the campus management system (HISinOne), identifying opportunities for process optimization, and providing technical guidance to a team of 20 staff members. You will serve as the Deputy Head of the department, supporting strategic and operational leadership while handling complex administrative cases and advising internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong IT affinity and experience in administrative law who enjoys bridging the gap between technical systems and organizational needs. The position offers a permanent contract with the stability of a public service employer, flexible working hours, and the potential for civil servant status (up to A11 LBesO), all within the vibrant environment of a world-class research university.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree relevant to the position (e.g., Public Administration, Business Informatics, or Management) or equivalent proven knowledge and skills.
Experience
- Profound professional experience in the digitalization of administrative processes, preferably within higher education
- Practical experience in the technical configuration of IT systems
- Proven experience in process and project management
- Initial leadership experience is highly desirable
- Experience in applying and implementing administrative law

- Work location is Bonn, Germany. Candidates may be hired as civil servants (up to A11 LBesO) or under the TV-L E11 collective agreement. Remote/mobile work options available.
