Job Summary
The Office for Digitalization and IT is seeking a skilled professional to manage a modern IT infrastructure supporting approximately 3,000 workstations. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, installation, and maintenance of central storage and backup solutions, including tape libraries and security software. You will also oversee Linux server administration, focusing on configuration, troubleshooting, and user rights management. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy technical autonomy, as it involves scripting for automation and providing second-level support. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (e.g., Computer Science) or completed vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) with relevant work experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the administration of storage networks and backup solutions
- Professional experience in Linux server administration
- Experience with NetApp, Commvault, and Quantum storage solutions is preferred
- Experience with Red Hat-based Linux systems is ideal
- Proven experience in automation through scripting
- Multiple years of professional experience required if applying with a vocational qualification instead of a degree
