As the Head of Network Quality for Germany's largest water and wastewater company, you will hold strategic and operational responsibility for Berlin's extensive wastewater discharge systems, including sewer networks, structures, and pressure pipelines. Your daily activities will involve negotiating operating requirements with district and state authorities, implementing long-term sewer renovation strategies, and prioritizing reinvestment needs based on structural and hydraulic assessments. You will oversee complex construction projects from the operator's perspective and make critical decisions regarding the dimensions and design of the pressure pipe network. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys high-level coordination and technical leadership. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in Urban Water Management or Civil Engineering) or Master's in Environmental Engineering. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in these fields combined with extensive relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in construction management for complex network infrastructure projects
  • Proven leadership experience or senior project management experience
  • Deep technical expertise in wastewater discharge systems from static, hydraulic, and operational perspectives
  • Experience in negotiating with public authorities and managing regulatory requirements
  • Professional experience in conceptual planning and strategic implementation of infrastructure reinvestment
