Job Summary

As an IT Asset Administrator for Berliner Wasserbetriebe, Germany's largest water management company, you will manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets for over 4,800 employees. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing and correcting IT inventory datasets, conducting regular controlling and reporting, and performing target-actual comparisons using SAP and dedicated IT asset management tools. You will oversee the procurement, decommissioning, and legal disposal of hardware, ensuring strict compliance with environmental and data protection regulations (GDPR and KRITIS). This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to coordinate with external service providers and internal teams to maintain a modern communication infrastructure. The position offers a stable, permanent contract with a 39-hour work week and up to 60% remote work flexibility per quarter. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration with an IT focus. Alternatively, a completed vocational training with further qualification as an IT Professional or Informatics Specialist.

  • Professional experience in the operational management of IT assets throughout their entire lifecycle
  • Experience in procurement, inventory data recording, and decommissioning of IT hardware
