Job Summary

As a Senior Wage Tax Manager at the Voith Group, you will hold overall technical responsibility for all wage tax matters within the German subgroup. Your daily activities involve developing and implementing group-wide tax governance guidelines, specifically focusing on cross-border mobile work, employee benefits, and international assignments. You will act as the central interface between the People & Culture and Tax departments, ensuring consistent application of tax regulations. A significant part of the role includes managing wage tax audits, negotiating with financial authorities, and providing expert opinions on complex topics like severance payments and global mobility compliance. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Law, Economics, or Finance, ideally with a focus on taxation. Professional qualification as a Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) and/or Lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) is desirable.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in wage tax law, preferably in an international corporate environment or a tax consulting firm.
  • Experience in managing wage tax audits and dealing with financial authorities.
  • Specialized experience in Global Mobility, including the tax and social security assessment of international assignments.
  • Professional experience in developing and implementing corporate tax guidelines and policies.
