Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer at the Voith Group, you will take technical responsibility for the commissioning and service of digital products for adjustable drive systems. Your daily activities involve the system-level support and integration of electrical equipment, automation systems, and condition-monitoring tools into the customer's overall processes. You will analyze electrical and digital interfaces to identify potential electromagnetic interference and work closely with engineering teams to implement improvements or corrective measures. A significant part of the role includes on-site controller parameterization and optimization to ensure seamless customer operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys technical problem-solving and is comfortable acting as a primary technical consultant for international clients. The role offers the unique opportunity to serve as the responsible electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft) for the Crailsheim service location while traveling globally to support cutting-edge industrial technology.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in commissioning and servicing digital products for drive systems
  • Experience in system-level integration of electrical and automation equipment
  • Proven background in controller parameterization and optimization
  • Experience in analyzing electrical and digital interfaces for interference
  • Practical experience in electrical and control engineering tasks
  • Ideally, a completed vocational training in mechanical engineering prior to university studies
