As a Transformer Technician at Stromnetz Berlin, you will play a vital role in maintaining and modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power grid. Based in Berlin-Mariendorf, your day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating technical and commercial processes, organizing annual and monthly maintenance schedules for both the internal network and specialized customers, and ensuring all maintenance documentation is accurately filed. You will act as a technical expert during new construction and renovation projects, overseeing the safe transition of assets into operation. Beyond planning, you will manage material requests, coordinate employee training, and monitor compliance with safety regulations. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of technical oversight and organizational management. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational technical training followed by further qualification as a Technician (Techniker), Master Craftsman (Meister), or Business Specialist (Fachwirt).

Experience

  • Proven experience in planning, coordination, and cross-departmental communication
  • Professional experience with power transformers, coils, and converters is preferred
  • Experience in managing technical and commercial interfaces
  • Experience in organizing maintenance schedules and tracking defect rectification
