Job Summary
This role at Robert KRAEMER GmbH & Co. KG offers an exciting opportunity for laboratory professionals to work in a sustainability-focused environment in Rastede. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the production and modification of resins and binders on a laboratory scale, focusing on bio-based alternatives to petroleum products. Your daily tasks include preparative organic synthesis (2-20 liter scale), developing and optimizing formulations, and ensuring product quality through rigorous sampling and documentation. You will play a key role in evaluating new sustainable raw materials and supporting the transition of laboratory developments into full-scale production. This position is particularly attractive due to its strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, offering a 37.5-hour work week with early finishes at 3 PM, 35 days of annual leave, and compensation according to the chemical industry collective agreement (Chemietarif).
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or in a comparable role
- Experience in the production and modification of chemical binders and resins
- Practical experience in organic synthesis and laboratory-scale manufacturing
- Proven ability to document product quality and maintain work instructions
- Experience in transitioning laboratory developments to production scale
