Job Summary

As a Specialist Planner for Energy Systems and Infrastructure in Dortmund, you will join the Grid & Power business unit to design electrical systems for power plants, substations, and technical infrastructure projects. Your daily responsibilities include the layout of power distribution networks and supply grids, as well as planning cable routes while adhering to EMC, functional integrity, and fire protection requirements. This role focuses on industrial energy distribution rather than traditional building services (TGA). You will coordinate technically with network operators and internal departments to ensure all designs meet VDE, TAB, and DIN standards.
