This role involves the independent commissioning, repair, and maintenance of complex military training systems, specifically focusing on driving school facilities for vehicles like the Leopard 2 and GTK Boxer. As a Service Technician, you will perform systematic troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems while managing technical documentation and spare parts inventory. The position is highly dynamic, requiring nationwide travel to support on-site integration and testing. You will act as a key technical point of contact, ensuring contract obligations are met through precise reporting and high-quality service. Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician degree in Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the maintenance of large-scale equipment such as tanks or cranes is highly desirable
  • Experience in independent troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proven track record in technical documentation and reporting
  • Experience working in a customer-oriented service environment

  • Must pass an extended security clearance (Ü2) according to the Security Check Act (SÜG). Requires unrestricted willingness to travel nationwide. Driving license class CE is preferred.
