Job Summary
This role is for a Customer Support Engineer specializing in switching technology at Airbus Secure Land Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of digital switching systems, including troubleshooting voice switching and signaling issues, configuring switching centers, and performing software upgrades. This position involves close collaboration with clients, project teams, and other technical departments, contributing to the introduction of new services and platforms in Tetra and digital radio networks. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification; or completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician.
Experience
- Over 3 years of professional experience in IT/Information Systems
- Professional experience in digital switching technology, ideally with DXT systems (Nokia)
- Professional experience as an IT Systems Electronics Technician
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B/3 driving license; Willingness for occasional travel.
