Job Summary
This role involves the commissioning, installation, and assembly of complex railway control and safety systems for an international client. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will work on both indoor and outdoor signaling installations, performing precise measurements, functional testing, and final inspections of field elements. Your daily tasks include software installation on module components, voltage testing of power supply systems, and the assembly of control and operating systems. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting technical faults and supporting internal acceptance tests and system trials. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy field service and hands-on technical challenges. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Devices & Systems, IT System Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in commissioning, assembly, or service of technical systems
- Experience in the field of control and signaling technology, railway technology, or signal engineering is preferred
- Experience in handling indoor and outdoor interlocking installations and train control systems
- Experience with technical documentation and defect tracking during commissioning phases
Languages
Additional
- Willingness for nationwide travel within Germany for field service and work on rotating construction sites is required. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with an option for extension.
