Job Summary

This role involves joining a highly skilled team of 2,300 professionals dedicated to the maintenance, repair, and inspection of onshore wind energy systems. Based in Duisburg, you will work in small teams to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wind turbines, ensuring they operate 24/7. Day-to-day tasks include replacing components, documenting work, and performing maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The position is unique because it offers local assignments, allowing you to return home most evenings, while providing specialized training in state-of-the-art centers. Candidates must be physically fit for heights and possess a background in electronics or mechatronics. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (Elektroniker), Mechatronics Technician (Mechatroniker), or an equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

  • Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in wind energy is preferred, though motivated career changers are welcome
  • Experience in control technology, hydraulics, or power electronics
  • Experience working at heights and physical fitness for technical field work
