Job Summary
This role involves working for the Supervisory and Service Directorate (ADD) in Koblenz to combat money laundering within the non-financial sector. As an AML Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing approximately 8,500 companies, including real estate agents, gambling operators, and luxury goods dealers. Your day-to-day activities will include educating businesses on their legal obligations under the Money Laundering Act and conducting on-site inspections to enforce compliance. This position is ideal for professionals seeking a crisis-proof career in the German public service (TV-L E11 / A11). It offers a unique blend of office-based administrative work and field service, providing a high degree of autonomy. Required Skills
Education
Career examination for the third entry level (3. Einstiegsamt) in Administration and Finance; or Angestelltenprüfung II; or a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Law, Business Administration, or equivalent (e.g., Dipl.-Jurist).
Experience
- Professional experience in administration, law, or finance within a public authority (state, federal, or local level)
- Experience in business auditing, cash auditing, or general business administration is highly desirable
- Professional background in applying administrative law, police law (POG), or regulatory offense law (OWiG)
- Experience in independent, structured, and responsible project or case management
- Proven experience in professional communication and conflict resolution with external organizations

- Valid Class B driver's license required; Readiness for regular full-day field service within Rhineland-Palatinate; Willingness to undergo initial training at the Trier location; Eligibility for public service appointment (Beamte or TV-L).
