Job Summary

This role offers an exciting entry point into the semiconductor industry for a motivated student or trainee. You will be responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle, from analyzing and preprocessing large-scale electrical production data to developing and optimizing software pipelines using machine learning techniques. Day-to-day tasks include performing statistical analysis, creating modular documentation in Jupyter Notebooks, and collaborating with international cross-functional teams to share innovative findings through technical papers. The position is highly flexible, offering part-time or full-time hours (between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.) and the potential to develop a Master's thesis. It is an ideal opportunity for those looking to apply theoretical knowledge in Computer Science or Data Science to real-world industrial challenges while gaining exposure to cutting-edge R&D environments.

Required Skills

Education

Currently enrolled student, ideally pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science & AI, or a similar field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in data processing workflows and feature engineering
  • Experience in training and evaluating machine learning models
  • Experience in software development for data pipelines
  • Experience in communicating complex data science concepts through reports or presentations

  • Must provide a valid certificate of matriculation, latest transcript of records, and highest completed educational certificate. Position is subject to the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry. Minimum commitment of 12 months required. Hybrid work model available.
