Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated professional to join a team of mathematicians and an IT specialist within the life insurance department of a leading German insurance provider. The primary focus will be on providing actuarial services for clients and the company's internal pension fund. Key responsibilities include contributing to the development and optimization of internal calculation and administration programs, analyzing and improving business processes, and conducting system and module tests. The specialist will also be involved in financial reporting, expert opinion preparation, and communication with HR, internal departments, and external clients. This position offers the opportunity to shape the foundation of occupational old-age provision and work in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering with a focus on Mathematics
Experience
- Professional experience in mathematics, computer science, or software engineering with a focus on mathematics
- Preferred programming skills
- Preferred knowledge of accounting for EbAV (Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision)
