Job Summary
As the Team Lead for the GKT Platform, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and coordination of a specialized team focused on turret system platforms. Your daily activities will involve overseeing the implementation of development tasks to ensure they meet strict time and cost targets, while simultaneously advancing the overarching platform strategy. You will play a pivotal role in maturity management, tracking technical status, and reporting on work packages regarding budget, quality, and risk. This position requires a proactive leader who can participate effectively in design reviews and technical coordination meetings to influence turret-level technical solutions. Based in either Unterlüß or Hamburg, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape high-level defense technology within a structured, permanent employment framework that emphasizes both technical excellence and strategic project management.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in vehicle and systems development
- Proven experience in leadership or personnel management
- Initial professional experience in project management
- Experience working within the defense or heavy machinery industry is preferred
- Experience using Systems Engineering tools such as DOORS

Additional
- Willingness to travel is required. The position is available at the Unterlüß or Hamburg locations. Must have the ability to work in a permanent, full-time capacity.
