Job Summary

This role involves the planning, management, and quality assurance of external services for technical and spare parts documentation within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) framework for armored military vehicles. You will be responsible for evaluating customer requirements, specifying subcontractor services for Interactive Electronic Technical Documentation (IETD) according to ASD S1000D/S2000M standards, and performing specialized quality control. Additionally, you will create and review guideline documents, evaluate subcontractor bids, and develop technical instructions for retrofits and tool manuals. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in mechanics or electronics who enjoys coordinating complex logistics concepts. Required Skills

Education

Technical degree (University/Fachhochschule) or a comparable specialized technical training with further qualification as a Certified Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the operation or maintenance of military systems is preferred
  • Experience in describing logistical concepts and maintenance procedures
  • Detailed knowledge of logistical and technical processes within military maintenance
  • Experience in evaluating subcontractor bids and managing external service providers
  • Proven experience in creating technical instructions and manuals
