Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a specialized simulation team dedicated to enhancing soldier survivability through advanced technical analysis. As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for the modeling and simulation of Infrared (IR) and Electro-Optical (EO) sensor systems under specific environmental conditions to evaluate system performance. A key part of your day-to-day work involves validating these simulation models against Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), laboratory, and field test results. You will actively contribute to the development of existing models, identify technical trends, and present your findings to clients. This position is ideal for those who enjoy combining deep technical work with experimental validation and direct customer interaction. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of sensor technology, preferably in electro-optics
  • Professional experience in modeling and simulation
  • Proven proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming
  • Experience in validating simulation models against experimental data (HiL, lab, or field tests)
  • Experience in presenting technical results to customers or stakeholders
