Job Summary
As a Software Project Manager in the Defense & Security division, you will lead the development of highly innovative simulation solutions for current and future airborne weapon systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve steering software development projects and multi-project management for both national and international clients. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and technical implementation of customer requirements while utilizing modern system and software development methodologies. A key part of the role includes building trust-based customer relationships, presenting project results, and providing technical leadership to your project team. Additionally, you will oversee supplier performance and support sales activities for new development projects. This position is unique for its focus on high-stakes aerospace technology and offers a clear career path toward managing larger strategic development projects within a mission-critical environment dedicated to armed forces services.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, a technical degree with a focus on Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the execution and leadership of software development projects
- Proven knowledge of project management standards and both classical and agile development methods
- Experience in technical team leadership and stakeholder communication
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry is highly preferred given the project scope

Additional
- Willingness to undergo security clearance processes may be required due to the defense nature of the role. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and assertiveness.
