As an Electrical Engineering Technician for the Berlin Police, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security and operational readiness of the capital city's ICT infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the construction and installation of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, troubleshooting decentralized ICT systems, and maintaining peripheral devices. You will also oversee the safety, cleanliness, and fire protection standards within ICT server rooms and manage access control. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician in IT or Telecommunications, or completed vocational training as an IT System Electronics Technician (IT-Systemelektroniker), or equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT or telecommunications technology
  • Experience in modern installation methods for structured building cabling
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting decentralized ICT and peripheral equipment
  • Experience with standard software products and system installation
