Job Summary

As the Head of the Central Planning Department at the Berlin Police Academy, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational infrastructure for the capital's law enforcement. Your primary responsibility involves developing and overseeing planning processes for both theoretical and practical training segments for junior officers in the middle and senior police services, as well as ongoing training for existing staff. Beyond strategic planning, you will provide essential personnel leadership to your team. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Management, Administrative Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field; or completed training as a Management Assistant (Verwaltungsfachangestellter) with the successful completion of the Administrative Examination II (VL II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration, public management, or business administration
  • Experience in personnel management and leadership tasks
  • Proven track record in developing planning processes within a large organizational framework
  • Long-term professional experience in equivalent administrative or management roles
