Job Summary

As a Data Center Operator for the Berlin Police, you will play a critical role in maintaining the city's security infrastructure. Working in a shift rotation, you will ensure the 24/7 stability of the police emergency response system (110) and manage multiple data center locations. Your daily responsibilities include monitoring central IT systems, managing storage networks (SAN), and serving as the primary technical contact for the service desk outside of standard business hours. You will perform 1st-level fault analysis, coordinate emergency measures, and handle physical hardware maintenance, including server components and facility systems like cooling and UPS.
