As a Project Associate for Permitting Procedures, you will play a critical role in managing complex environmental approval processes for industrial and energy projects. Your daily responsibilities include preparing application documents in accordance with German environmental regulations such as BImSchG, WHG, and BauGB, as well as managing CO2 emission trading documentation and environmental data reporting. You will act as a key consultant for clients, coordinating with regulatory authorities and organizing interdisciplinary expert reports. This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in environmental law and project management who enjoys working at the intersection of technical planning and legal compliance. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Ecology and Environmental Protection, or a related engineering field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in preparing application documents for environmental and building permits
  • Experience in managing CO2 emission trading documentation including monitoring plans and allocation applications
  • Professional experience in environmental data reporting and solvent balance reporting
  • Experience in client consulting and professional correspondence with regulatory authorities
  • Experience in interdisciplinary project management within the engineering or environmental sector
