This is a high-profile leadership role reporting directly to the Lord Mayor of Leonberg, where you will be responsible for building and leading a new department of 11 employees. Required Skills

Education

Master of Public Management, Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, or Diploma in Public Administration (qualified for higher service); alternatively, a Law degree with administrative experience or a relevant university degree with public sector experience. Foreign degrees require German recognition.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a high-level function within a supreme state authority, municipal administration, staff unit, or comparable organization
  • Proven track record in structuring complex issues and managing decision-making processes
  • Experience in leading teams and communicating effectively at the executive level
  • Practical experience in the public sector is highly preferred
