Job Summary

As a Data Scientist for ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG in Vienna, you will play a critical role in the regional transport division by managing passenger counting data for the Eastern region. Your daily responsibilities involve processing and validating data collected from manual and automatic sources, ensuring high data quality through plausibility checks, and coordinating with external counting firms or internal departments for additional data collection. You will contribute to monthly passenger volume calculations and provide essential analysis on occupancy rates and passenger kilometers to support regular reporting, forecasting, and operational optimization.
