Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, specifically focusing on overhead contact lines and high-voltage infrastructure. Your daily duties include the assembly and disassembly of catenary components, operating specialized construction vehicles such as motorized tower cars, and providing technical guidance to team members while ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and operational protocols. You will also manage material requirements and maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports and performance records. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a critical infrastructure environment, with strong support for professional development, including internal training paths leading to master-level qualifications. The role requires a hands-on, analytical approach and the flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights, to ensure the safety and reliability of railway operations.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training (apprenticeship) as an Electrical Machine Technician, Electrical Technician, Railway Electrical Technician, Electrical Installation Technician, Refrigeration Technician, Mechatronics/Automation Technician, Process Technician, or a degree from a technical college for Electrical Engineering or Electronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related technical trades
  • Practical experience in assembly, maintenance, or repair of electrical infrastructure
  • Experience in technical documentation and material resource management is preferred
