As an Electrical Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and design of electrical systems for international automotive and technology clients. Your day-to-day work involves creating conceptual designs for permit applications and developing detailed execution plans that integrate multiple engineering trades. You will take the lead on power distribution and emergency power supply planning, ensuring compliance with industry standards through selectivity studies, short-circuit current calculations, and cable cross-section determinations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring regular coordination with both internal teams and external project stakeholders. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training in an electrical field, a degree in Electrical Engineering, or a qualification as a state-certified Technician.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical planning and design
  • Proven experience in power distribution and emergency power supply planning
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using AutoCAD and Relux for engineering projects
  • Experience in performing technical calculations such as selectivity studies and short-circuit current analysis
