Job Summary
As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician at Liebherr-Components Kirchdorf GmbH, you will be responsible for the critical inspection of hydraulic components, including cylinders and fiber-composite solutions. Your daily routine involves performing various NDT procedures such as Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on components and welded joints. You will evaluate and document results according to international standards and customer specifications, ensuring the highest quality for both Liebherr machinery and external clients. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work closely with production and welding technology departments to support quality decisions and releases. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Materials Tester, Industrial Mechanic, or equivalent). Additional certification as a tester according to DIN EN ISO 9712 for VT, MT, and UT is highly desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in quality inspection of welded or mechanically machined components such as cylinder tubes and piston rods
- Practical experience in handling testing devices, measuring instruments, and generating test reports
- Experience working within standardized quality frameworks and customer-specific regulations
- Collaborative experience working with production and welding technology interfaces
