Job Summary

This role involves planning, managing, and overseeing new construction and renovation projects within the Department of Construction and Facility Management at the University of Hildesheim. You will be responsible for electrical engineering and building automation systems from conception to completion. Day-to-day, you will represent the university's interests as the client, coordinating with external planning offices, specialist companies, and internal user groups. A key focus is on implementing energy-efficient and sustainable building technologies. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering field; alternatively, a qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfte/r Techniker/in) is accepted.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in building-related planning services
  • Several years of professional experience in the planning, control, or implementation of electrical construction projects
  • Professional experience in technical building equipment or the construction industry
  • Proven experience in dealing with external planning offices and executing companies

  • For degrees obtained outside of Germany, a statement of comparability from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) is required before hiring. The position is permanent and full-time, though part-time is theoretically possible if the full hours are covered.
