Job Summary

As a Chemical Laboratory Technician at Vetter, a leading global pharmaceutical service provider, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of injectable medicines for conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and cancer. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing release testing on raw materials and finished pharmaceutical products using a variety of chemical and physical analytical methods. You will be responsible for the entire sample lifecycle, from production intake to final evaluation, while maintaining high-tech analytical equipment. A significant portion of the role involves ensuring strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, international regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Beyond laboratory work, you will draft and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), support method transfers and validations, and participate in laboratory audits. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training recognized in Germany as a Technical Assistant (CTA/BTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical and physical analytical testing methods
  • Experience working within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environment
  • Experience in handling the full sample lifecycle from intake to evaluation
  • Experience in creating, checking, and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience supporting laboratory audits and method validations
