As an IT License Specialist at Vetter, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire software license lifecycle for a leading global pharmaceutical service provider. Your daily responsibilities will include building and maintaining license management systems, ensuring strict compliance through regular audits and reporting, and maintaining a centralized contract overview. You will act as a key consultant for internal IT teams, procurement, and legal departments regarding licensing queries and contract negotiations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work with external software vendors and service providers while optimizing processes to identify cost-saving potential. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, business, or a related commercial field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in license management, IT sourcing, software procurement, or Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Experience in managing the full license lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning
  • Proven track record in ensuring license compliance and supporting manufacturer audits
  • Experience in internal consulting and cross-departmental collaboration with IT, legal, and procurement teams
  • Experience in operative ticket processing and sourcing-related inquiry management
