Job Summary
The Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) is seeking a strategic leader to head their Grants and Cooperations Department. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team responsible for managing approximately six million euros in annual third-party funding and overseeing the university's independent foundation. Your day-to-day will involve advising the university leadership on research organization, coordinating large-scale grant applications at EU, federal, and state levels, and fostering relationships with donors and project partners. A key focus of the position is the strategic expansion of scientific and artistic research funding. This role is ideal for a professional with deep roots in university administration and a passion for the arts. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree (MA) preferably in Humanities or fields related to university research; Doctorate (PhD) is considered an advantage.
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience and experience in managing strategic projects
- Extensive experience in the acquisition, design, and implementation of university cooperations and third-party funded projects
- Professional experience in university research funding and artistic development projects
- Experience in university organization and administrative processes for third-party projects
- Experience in foundation work, including the acquisition of donations and endowments
