Job Summary

This role involves the realization and continuous development of a cross-state software solution for digitizing administrative procedures in rural land development. Working within the Service Center for Land Development and Agricultural Promotion (SLA) in Lower Saxony, you will be part of a 70-person department focused on geo-based software products. Your daily responsibilities include programming, automated testing, refactoring, and documentation, as well as participating in national technical working groups and requirement analysis. The position is ideal for someone with strong GIS programming skills and experience in Python and PostgreSQL. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in (Geo-, Administrative-, or Business-) Informatics, or a related IT field, or equivalent practical skills and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development of GIS systems
  • Professional experience in Python, PostgreSQL, and QGIS
  • Experience in software development lifecycle including testing, refactoring, and documentation
  • Experience in land development or land registry systems (preferred)

Languages

German (Fluent)
