Job Summary

This critical role involves overseeing site security and technical maintenance at the Krümmel interim storage facility. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring security services to ensure compliance with guarding tasks while simultaneously performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical, control, mechanical, and structural systems. You will act as the on-site representative for the operating company, making decisive calls during emergency situations and initiating immediate countermeasures. The position is unique due to its dual focus on high-level security and technical facility management within the nuclear waste management sector. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Master (Meister) or Technician in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Security and Safety (Meister für Schutz und Sicherheit), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in site security monitoring and guarding task compliance
  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical, control, or mechanical systems
  • Experience in emergency decision-making and initiating immediate safety measures
  • Experience in specialized safety roles such as Safety Officer or Equipment Testing Officer is preferred
  • Experience operating cranes or forklifts is advantageous
