This role involves overseeing the security and technical maintenance operations at a nuclear waste interim storage facility in Biblis. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring security service performance, managing technical malfunctions in safety systems, and acting as a designated expert for emergency response coordination with fire and rescue services. You will play a critical role in site safety by initiating first aid, managing alarms, and ensuring compliance with operational regulations. The position is unique due to its high-responsibility environment within a federal government-owned company dedicated to sustainable nuclear waste management. Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker) in a technical field, preferably Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications Technology/IT, or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Master (Meister) or Technician in a technical field such as electrical engineering, electronics, or IT
  • Experience in monitoring security service providers and ensuring contractual compliance
  • Practical knowledge in handling technical and operational malfunctions in safety and security systems
  • Experience in emergency management and coordination with external emergency services
  • Proven ability to work in a shift-based environment
