This role involves the continuous inspection, maintenance, and installation of IT-supported operational systems and networked facilities at a nuclear waste storage site. Day-to-day, you will operate and maintain technical equipment such as crane controls and PLC systems while ensuring IT security through access management and asset inventory. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining critical system documentation and safety records. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex industrial systems and is willing to work on-site with offline 'island' solutions. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Automation Technician, or a comparable electro-technical qualification with broad IT expertise.

Experience

  • Professional experience in handling Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), specifically Siemens Simatic S7
  • Professional experience with operational IT applications and networked technical systems
  • Experience in the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial electronic systems
  • Experience in creating system descriptions and safety documentation
  • Experience with network infrastructures such as LAN and industrial bus systems is desirable
