Job Summary

This role involves the continuous testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of IT-based operational systems and networked facilities at the Isar site in Essenbach. As part of the Security & Maintenance group, you will operate and maintain technical systems such as crane controls and PLC systems (specifically Siemens Simatic S7). A significant portion of the role focuses on implementing IT security measures, managing access control, and maintaining asset inventory and safety documentation. This position is unique as it offers the stability of a state-owned enterprise responsible for Germany's radioactive waste management. You will work primarily with offline 'island' solutions, ensuring high-security standards are met. The role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys a mix of electrical engineering and IT infrastructure within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
