Job Summary

As a Grants and Funding Manager at the Hochschule Niederrhein, you will play a vital role in the financial administration of publicly funded research and educational projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing project budgets, advising project leads on funding regulations and grant law, and coordinating with external funding bodies and internal partners. You will be responsible for processing fund requests and preparing interim and final expenditure reports. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Business Administration or Administrative Science; OR completed vocational training in commercial/administrative fields with relevant experience; OR completed H2 course/Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration of third-party funded projects
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in grant and funding management
  • Experience in coordinating with external funding providers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with ERP software systems for financial management
