Job Summary

This PhD position at the Dudeck Lab (Research Group Immunoregulation) offers a unique opportunity to investigate the functional relevance of mast cells in immune responses and inflammatory processes. As a doctoral researcher, you will engage in day-to-day activities involving intercellular communication studies, specifically focusing on mast cells' interactions with dendritic cells, macrophages, and the endothelium. You will utilize cutting-edge technology including intravital two-photon microscopy, three-dimensional light-sheet microscopy, and omics technologies. The role is ideal for highly motivated researchers looking to work in an internationally visible team with access to the Multiparametric Bioimaging and Cytometry platform. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline.

Experience

  • Professional experience in cell biological, immunological, or molecular biological methods
  • Experience in working with transgenic mouse models is advantageous
  • Previous experience with microscopy techniques or tissue processing is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an international research team
