Job Summary

This role involves training the next generation of skilled professionals at the Chamber of Skilled Crafts (Handwerkskammer) in Kaiserslautern. As a Technical Instructor, you will deliver both theoretical and practical instruction to apprentices within the framework of inter-company vocational training. Your day-to-day will involve teaching fundamental electrical engineering to beginners while guiding advanced students through specialized techniques and emerging technologies. Beyond teaching, you will be responsible for preparing instructional materials, organizing workshop environments, and assisting in the procurement of modern equipment and materials. This position is ideal for a Master Craftsman or Technician who is passionate about sharing their expertise and staying at the forefront of technological advancements. Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology; Instructor Aptitude Certification (AdA/AEVO) is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Master Craftsman or State-Certified Technician in Electrical or Information Technology
  • Practical experience in traditional and modern craft techniques
  • Experience in working with apprentices or in a teaching capacity is preferred
  • Experience with digital learning tools and media systems is highly desirable
