Job Summary

As an Application Support Specialist, you will serve as the central point of contact for construction partners utilizing the Gigabit Business System (GBGS), a critical digital documentation and process platform for fiber optic expansion. Your daily responsibilities include managing and prioritizing support tickets, ensuring process compliance, and identifying recurring errors to drive standardization. You will act as a bridge between internal teams like Rollout and Commercial, providing onboarding and coaching to both colleagues and external partners. Beyond support, you will take ownership of requirements management and project management for new system features, overseeing the end-to-end implementation from specification to testing and rollout. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys data analysis and thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where they can take full responsibility for system optimization and user enablement.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree or specialized vocational training in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the telecommunications industry
  • Proven experience working with complex workflow tools and systems
  • Extensive experience in support ticket processing, documentation, and prioritization
  • Professional background in requirements management and end-to-end project implementation
  • Experience in coaching, training, and knowledge transfer for internal and external stakeholders
