Job Summary
This leadership role involves heading the SAP Modules and Cost Accounting unit within the Finance Department of the City of Hannover. You will be responsible for the technical management and oversight of SAP CO (Controlling) and PS (Project System) modules, as well as the city-wide technical responsibility for Cost and Activity Accounting (KLR). Your day-to-day activities will include leading the unit and the master data team, conducting training for staff involved in controlling and SAP procedures, and ensuring quality standards are maintained. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Administrative Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification (e.g., Angestelltenlehrgang II or eligibility for the second entry level of career group 2 in General Services).
Experience
- Professional experience in SAP module management, specifically CO and PS
- Leadership experience is preferred for the management of the unit and master data team
- Proven experience in cost and activity accounting (KLR) within a technical or financial context
- Experience in conducting professional training and monitoring quality requirements
- Experience working within municipal or public administration frameworks

- The position is permanent and available full-time (39-40 hours) or part-time starting September 1, 2026. Applicants must meet the requirements for Entgeltgruppe 12 TVöD or Besoldungsgruppe A 13 for civil servants.
