Job Summary
As an IT Field Service Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for hands-on technical support and onsite services in Nuremberg. Your daily responsibilities involve the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of client hardware and peripherals, alongside managing software deployments for Windows 10/11 environments. You will play a critical role in executing IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services, handling rollouts, and troubleshooting incidents via a structured ticketing system. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in hardware/software and a strong service-oriented mindset to support end-users directly. Required Skills
Education
Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification).
Experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in onsite support, IT support, rollouts, or a comparable technical position
- Professional experience in processing incidents and service requests according to defined SLAs
- Practical experience with client staging and software deployment
- Demonstrated experience in direct user support and onsite troubleshooting
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is required. Location: Nuremberg. Full-time, permanent contract.
