Job Summary

This full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position at Philipps-Universität Marburg's Department of Medicine, Dermatology and Allergology Clinic, Section Allergology, focuses on translational studies in clinical models to understand cellular and humoral pathomechanisms of IgE-mediated allergies and cutaneous Type 2 inflammation. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing projects, independently research Type 2 inflammation, and characterize immune cell subsets using advanced immunological and molecular biological methods like flow cytometry and immunohistology. Key responsibilities also include developing and optimizing research protocols, providing scientific services in allergological research and teaching, and mentoring junior scientists. This role offers a unique opportunity for scientific qualification towards a professorship, fostering independent research and integration into a dynamic, interdisciplinary research group at the interface of basic immunological research and clinical application.
