Job Summary
This role involves performing precise chemical and physical analyses within a specialized testing laboratory for a leading precious metals company. On a day-to-day basis, you will conduct fire assays (docimastic analysis), take material samples, and perform measurements using X-ray spectrometers. You will also be responsible for analyzing ash from recycling processes, maintaining laboratory equipment, and contributing to the development of new testing methods. Beyond technical analysis, you will document results in internal and external reports and provide mentorship to department apprentices. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in chemistry or laboratory technology who wants to work in a modern, family-run medium-sized enterprise. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Precious Metal Assayer (Edelmetallprüfer), Chemical Laboratory Assistant (Chemielaborant), Chemical Technician (Chemotechniker), or a comparable qualification.

- Professional experience in a laboratory environment is desirable
