Job Summary
As a Precious Metal Assayer at C.HAFNER, you will play a critical role in the quality assurance and analysis of precious metals within a modern laboratory environment. Your daily responsibilities will involve performing fire assays (docimastic analysis), sampling incoming materials, and conducting measurements using X-ray spectrometers. You will also be responsible for analyzing ash from the recycling department, maintaining laboratory equipment, and developing new testing methods. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Precious Metal Assayer (Edelmetallprüfer), Chemical Laboratory Assistant (Chemielaborant), Chemical Technician (Chemotechniker), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical or precious metal laboratory environments is desirable
- Experience in performing docimastic or fire assay analysis
- Experience in operating analytical laboratory equipment such as X-ray spectrometers
- Proven ability to document technical results in internal and external test reports
