Job Summary

As an Energy Management Engineer at Heckler & Koch, you will take full responsibility for leading and steering the ISO 50001 energy management system. Your daily activities will involve developing innovative energy concepts, identifying efficiency measures, and managing cross-departmental energy projects from conception to completion. You will play a critical role in the company's sustainability strategy by conducting energetic assessments, monitoring key performance indicators, and preparing both internal and external audits. Beyond technical management, you will be a key advocate for sustainability, conducting employee training sessions and campaigns to foster energy awareness. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Energy Management, or a comparable qualification with relevant further training. Additional qualification as an internal energy auditor is preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in building, maintaining, and developing energy management systems according to ISO 50001
  • Experience in energy planning and control within an industrial environment
  • Proven track record in leading cross-departmental energy efficiency projects
  • Experience in conducting and documenting internal and external audits
