Job Summary

As a Development Engineer at Heckler & Koch, you will lead the technical execution of feasibility studies and pre-development projects specifically focused on sensor technologies and electronics. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve driving innovation by implementing new technologies and coordinating closely with external development partners, suppliers, and research institutes. You will provide critical technical support across various departments during the product development lifecycle and contribute technical expertise to tender preparations. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting market observations and competitive analyses to ensure the company remains a global leader. Required Skills

Education

University degree or University of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a research or development department of a manufacturing company
  • Professional experience in control/regulation technology, electronics, and mechatronics
  • Experience in the defense technology industry is desirable
  • Experience using MATLAB is desirable
