Job Summary

As an HR Information Systems Specialist for the Integrated Personnel Management (IPV) system, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family in Berlin. Your daily responsibilities will involve providing central application support for users, developing data evaluation tools, and conducting complex data analyses and error diagnostics. You will be responsible for creating ad-hoc queries, adjusting forms, and managing serial letters to ensure efficient personnel administration. Additionally, you will serve as a key IT contact person for external service providers and lead internal training workshops for system users. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in public administration or SAP HR who enjoy technical problem-solving and process optimization. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or University of Applied Sciences Diploma in Administration, Law, or Economics; or completion of the Administrative Training Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II); or equivalent DQR Level 6 qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the central support of the Integrated Personnel Management (IPV) system or similar HR software
  • Experience in data analysis, error diagnostics, and creating evaluation lists
  • 3+ years of professional experience in public sector personnel administration (for non-degree holders)
  • 3+ years of professional experience with the SAP HR module in either public or private sectors
  • Experience in conducting internal training or workshops for software users
